Size it from your complete equipment load, not another trailer’s generator. Have a qualified electrician check simultaneous heating and motor starts, required voltage, and each circuit’s limits against the generator’s continuous and starting ratings. Then check runtime, transport, noise, and safe placement. Portable generators belong outdoors, away from openings; never bypass a carbon-monoxide shutoff or improvise connections.
Yes, with a system designed for your actual loads and service length. Check both output in watts and usable stored energy in watt-hours; either can be the limiting factor. Include heating, refrigeration, setup, cleanup, and a reserve, then test realistic service before relying on it. Ask a qualified installer about weight, safe installation, and recharging between bookings. Solar charging does not guarantee all-day operation.
Choose a setup you can handle safely every working day. A suitable lift, rated ramp system, or professionally assessed mount may reduce lifting; the right choice depends on the load, vehicle, and venue. Secure the generator for transport—its weight alone is not a restraint. Check fuel-handling instructions and vehicle limits, and keep transport arrangements separate from a safe outdoor operating position.
Choose an exact model that matches the verified supply, then test its busiest milk-drink workload. “Normal outlet” does not tell you the available current or what else shares the circuit. Some lower-power machines recover more slowly during repeated steaming. Have the venue and a qualified electrician confirm the connection and load before purchase; a plug adapter cannot create missing capacity. Also check weight and local equipment approval.
